The Session of BGPC prioritizes the health and safety of their church members, visitors, and staff. We strive to balance the importance of worship with the needs of our congregation.
For those who do not feel comfortable worshipping in-person with us during this time of pandemic, we understand and appreciate your decision to do what is best for you and your family. You can always worship with us on-line Facebook Live on our Facebook Page (10 am on Sundays) or on our YouTube Channel uploaded later on Sunday afternoons.
For those who prefer in-person worship, the Session has adopted the following guidelines:
Outdoor Worship: Most restrictions have been lifted. Masks will no longer be required, and people can choose how much distance they prefer between household groups when setting up their chairs. Bulletins will be available with inserts for hymns and scripture passages.
Indoor Worship: We continue to be socially distanced in the Sanctuary. Ushers will seat worshippers in from front-to-back and escort out from back-to-front. Masks are not required, but recommended, for those at most risk (children under 12, the immunosuppressed, the unvaccinated, etc.)
BOTH Outdoor & Indoor Worship: We will collect tithes/offerings/rustling bags of food and Heifer Coins at the Welcome Table, passing of the peace will be done by waving, and children will remain in their seats for the children's message. If you are not feeling well, take care of yourself at home.
Childcare: All Caregivers will be fully vaccinated before being able to volunteer in the nursery, children's church, or other events to protect children who are not yet able to receive the vaccine.
Again, our guidelines will continue to be adjusted as new information becomes available.
